Part of the project is the development of a novel sorbent for the application in the integrated steel process. This sorbent is based on sorbent developed within previous SEWGS projects and has been adapted for the specific integration within the project.

The ACT & with CETP TRI3 Knowledge Sharing Workshop 2024 was hosted by the Research Council of Norway in Oslo on 11-12 September 2024. The workshop welcomed participants from all ongoing ACT and CETP projects within the CCUS domain, while also being open to anyone interested in CCUS. The primary goal was to facilitate knowledge sharing, exchange experiences, and foster networking.
On 2-3 September 2024 the kick-off of the GreenSmith project with all consortium members took place at TNO in Alkmaar, The Netherlands.
